According to the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), over 44% of homebuyers start their search for a new home online. Add that with the fact that a lot of prospective homebuyers who are searching online don’t bother looking at homes that don’t display photos, this means if the home that you put up for sale doesn’t show any photos to show the prospective client what they could be buying, then you are probably reducing the chances of selling the home quickly. So, not only do you want to add photographs to your listings, you want to make sure those photos show the home in the best possible light. This is where hiring an experienced real estate photographer will benefit you. Real estate photography is different from other types of photography, so be sure to ask to previous work from the Port St. Joe real estate photographer that you might be considering hiring. Real estate photographers know they have to deliver high-quality work in a very short period of time (usually within 24-business hours) because they know the property listing needs to be up on the MLS as soon as possible to attract potential buyers. When you contact your local Port St. Joe real estate photographer, make sure you ask them if they offer any kind of post-shoot editing services using Photoshop or other software. You might also want to consider adding a home video tour or 3D-tour if you think it will help the property sell – so make sure to ask the photographer if they can provide those services.

More About Port St. Joe

Port St. Joe is a city located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 98 and State Road 71 in Gulf County, Florida, United States. As of the 2010 census the population was 3,445.[4] This was a decline from 3,644 as of the 2000 census. Port St. Joe is the county seat of Gulf County.

St. Joseph was founded in 1835 by businessmen from nearby Apalachicola, which was troubled by legal conflict over land titles.[5] It was mostly abandoned in 1841 after a yellow fever epidemic; a storm surge produced by a hurricane in 1844 destroyed what structures remained.[6] In the early 20th century a new settlement was founded close to the original after the arrival of the Apalachicola Northern Railroad in 1909. It appears that the more informal “Port St. Joe” was adopted for official use around this time.
