A recent report by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) states that over 44% of homebuyers start their search for a new home online. Add that with the fact that most prospective homebuyers who are searching on the Internet won’t even consider looking at homes that don’t display any photographs, it means if the home that you put up for sale doesn’t have photos to show the prospective client what they could be buying, then you might be reducing the chances of selling the home quickly. So, not only should you add photographs to your listings, you want to make sure those photographs show the home in the best possible light. This is why hiring an experienced real estate photographer will probably benefit you. Real estate photography is different from other genres of photography, so make sure you ask see previous work from the Palatka real estate photographer that you might be considering hiring. Real estate photographers are used to having to deliver high-quality work in a very short period of time (normally within one business day) because they know the property listing has to be up on the Multi-Listing Service as soon as possible to attract potential buyers. When you contact your local Palatka real estate photographer, be sure to ask them if they offer any kind of post-shoot editing services using Photoshop or other types of software, and you may also want to consider adding a home video tour or 3D-tour if you think the property warrants it – so make sure to ask the photographer if they can provide those services.

More About Palatka

Palatka (/ˈpəlætkə/ (listen)) is a city in Putnam County, Florida, United States. The population was 10,558 at the 2010 census.[5] It is the county seat of Putnam County.[6] Palatka is the principal city of the Palatka Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is home to 72,893 residents. The city is also home to St. Johns River State College, St. Johns River Water Management District Headquarters, and Ravine Gardens State Park. The area is well known for its local festivals, most notably the Florida Azalea Festival and the Blue Crab Festival.

The area was once the domain of the Timucuan peoples, two tribes of which existed in the Palatka region under chiefs Saturiwa and Utina. They fished bass and mullet, or hunted deer, turkeys, bear and opossum. Others farmed beans, corn, melons, squash, and tobacco. However, infectious disease that came with European contact and war devastated the tribes, and they were extinct by the mid-18th century. The last people evacuated with the Spanish to Cuba in 1763, when Spain ceded Florida to Great Britain after the Seven Years’ War.
