A recent report by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) states that over 44% of homebuyers start their search for a new home online. Add that with the fact that a lot of prospective homebuyers who are searching on the Internet won’t even consider looking at homes that don’t display photographs, it means if your house that you put up for sale doesn’t have any associated photographs to show the prospective client what they could be buying, then you are probably reducing your chances of selling the home as fast as you might have. So, not only should you add photographs to your listings, you need to be sure those photos show the home in the best possible light. This is where hiring an experienced real estate photographer will benefit you. Real estate photography is different from other genres of photography, so be sure to ask to previous work from any Davenport real estate photographer that you might be considering hiring. Real estate photographers know they have to deliver high-quality work very quickly (usually within 24-business hours) because they know the listing has to be up on the Multi-Listing Service as quickly as possible to attract potential buyers. When you contact your local Davenport real estate photographer, make sure you ask them if they offer any kind of post-shoot editing services using Photoshop or other types of software. You might also want to consider a home video tour or 3D-tour if you think the property warrants it – so make sure to ask the photographer if they can provide those services.

More About Davenport

Davenport is a city in Polk County, Florida, United States. The population was 2,888 at the 2010 census.[6] While the city of Davenport itself is very small, the area north of the city close to Interstate 4 and US 27 is experiencing explosive growth. It is part of the Lakeland–Winter Haven Metropolitan Statistical Area. The current interim mayor is H.B. “Rob” Robinson,[7] who was appointed in February 2018 to replace former Mayor Darlene Bradley, who resigned after being arrested in December 2017 on a host of charges including use of a false identity.[8] Per the City Charter, Mayor Robinson will serve until the next regular municipal election in April 2019, when an election will be held to fill the post through the remainder of the term, which ends in 2020.

The settlement in the area now known as Davenport was established in 1838 when the U.S. military set up Fort Davenport during the Second Seminole War, about 12 miles north of the present site of Davenport. The fort was one of a number built at 20 mile intervals along a trail from Fort Brooke to Fort Mellon. The fort only lasted a few years.[9] The fort was named for Colonel William Davenport, who served as the local U.S. commander in the war.[10] There is no known documentary evidence to support an alternative claim that the city was named for a railroad conductor.[10][11]
